Snow Kiting in Italy

December 16, 2011 | Category: Uncategorized

The snow season has started.

Italy has some beautiful snowkite spots. They are spacious and offer lots of touring posibilities. Because they are so spaces kiting with a normal tube kite is possible. Offcourse nice snowkite from Ozone is easier. You can launch and land more independent. But also with the tube kites you will be able to explore areas you can only walk to or snowkite to!

Join Wind Riders on a tour or take a lesson to get into Snowkiting.

Mika is all winter in Italy, ready to take you to the nicest spots. End of February Wind Riders is organizing a snowkite camp. Join us on the snowkite adventure!

Any snow kiting near Cervinia? How difficult is snow kiting. I am between a beginner and intermediary snowboarder, but an experienced kite surfer

    Hi Eddie,
In perfect conditions snowkiting is very easy when you come from kitesurfing. But with more difficult mountainwinds or difficult snow it can be very helpful to hire an isntructor to make sure you progress fast and can enjoy it maximum. We can recommand Passo Tonale for a beginner snowkiter. Have a great day,

    Hi Guys,

I am in Livorno, Italy for the whole winter.

I would be very interested in finding out some more information on Snow kiting in Italy.

Where is a good spot to go and what size kite do you generally fly if you are using a tube kite.
